Project

Hessian Creativity Report

portraits and abstract imagery

Description

We shot portraits of almost every person introduced in the information for the creative economics report from the hessian ministry of economics on creativity and responsibility. Driving over several weeks and around 1200 km through Hessen, we captured the sitters at places that make them highly creative, get inspired from or connect to what they do.

For the three main chapters, we created abstract imagery following a creative concept we did beforehand. The idea was to symbolize the topic of the main chapters in the report and have them in context with each image with each image using laser and other light sources to paint and burn light into light-sensitive surfaces.
