For Zeit Verbrechen, we got to look at flies from another perspective. They can help investigations about murders or provide information about the approximate time of death of persons. Based in Frankfurt is the center for pathology, which successfully investigates flies and bugs. I

We took all kinds of versions, from the grub over the young to the adult fly into our studio and took a closer look. We found unbelievable beautiful colors and forms on the bodies of the flies and grubs. When you see the images, maybe you will look different at these animals next time you find one of them. 

Quick tip for catching a fly: very, very slow hand movement will make you catch.
